We spent four years as strangers at UT (hook ‘em!) before serendipity put us on the same block in San Francisco and changed everything. Christie brings the spontaneity and the laughter; Jeremy brings the plan and, yes, the spreadsheet; and together we’ve built a life around exploring new things — hidden wine bars, last-minute festivals, cities that become stories. A destination wedding in Mallorca felt like the perfect reflection of us. Our favorite people, a beautiful island, and a celebration worth traveling for.Â
We can’t wait to see y’all there.Whether you join us in Mallorca or toast from afar, we are so grateful for your love and support as we start this new adventure!
Fly into Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI).
Rent a car (best option)
Best for: freedom, beaches, scenic drives
Most places like Sa Calobra or Cap de Formentor are hard to reach otherwise. Roads are good, but expect narrow mountain routes and tricky parking in summer.
💡 Tip: Book earlyÂ
Train (scenic but limited)
Best for: relaxed trips from Palma
Try the Ferrocarril de Sóller—beautiful but more for the experience than transport.
Bus (budget-friendly)
Best for: getting between towns
TIB buses are reliable and cheap, but slower with limited night service.
Taxi / ride apps
Best for: short trips
Easy to find in tourist areas. Uber and Cabify available but limited.
Meal times:
Lunch is between 13:00-15:00 and dinner between 20:00-22:00
However, as Palma is a touristic city, many places will serve food at any other times but it’s good to consider this in mind as many others will be closed at any other times.
Best offers: search for Menú del dÃa (menu of the day) in many restaurants – normally you will have a two-course meal, with a drink and coffee/dessert with prices varying between 15€ – 25€ in total per person.
Must try meals:
Paella, Pulpo a la Gallega (Octopus), Patatas Bravas, Vermuth around 12:00-13:00 before lunch in a terraza, Tortilla de Patatas (Potato Omelette), all types of seafood, Tinto de Verano (cold red wine), Gazpacho (tomato soup)
Siesta time:
Many shops will close around 16:00 and will open again around 18:00 (final closing times between 21:00-22:00)
Tipping is not expected but appreciated if you considered the service exceptional
Slow-tourism: enjoy terrazas and sun! Make time for sobremesa – lingering long after a meal for a post-dining conversation. This is a hallmark of sociable Spanish culture, to extend conversations well beyond mealtimes to be able to enjoy each other’s company for as long as possible, usually over drinks.
Keep an eye on your belongings when in the beach.
Dress appropriately when away from the beach: It is ilegal to walk topless or in a bikini outside the sand in Spain and police will approach
